To celebrate the 50th anniversary of their medical-school graduation, members of the Class of 1959 are following a tradition set by previous classes: creating an endowed scholarship for students in the School of Medicine. In helping M.D. students in perpetuity, the UW Medicine Class of 1959 Endowed Scholarship aims to relieve the burden of debt medical school students encounter and also commemorate the generosity and achievements of the class’s members.
