Arthur F. “Skip” Oppenheimer is Chairman/CEO of Oppenheimer Companies, Inc., and President of Oppenheimer Development Corporation and Chairman of several affiliated corporations. Oppenheimer Companies, Inc. is a national food processing, sales, marketing and distribution organization. Oppenheimer Development Corporation is a commercial real estate development company. Skip graduated from Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration with an MBA in 1972; the University of Idaho with a BA in history in 1968; and received a Degree Elementaire and a Certificat De Langue Francaise – Niveau Elementaire in 1967 from the Sorbonne, University of Paris, France. Skip has held numerous positions of leadership in organizations, with emphasis on healthcare, education, children and families, and economic development. Among others, he served as inaugural chair of St. Luke’s Health System, Idaho’s largest employer, and founding chair of the Idaho Business Coalition for Education Excellence. He is a member of the UW Medicine Strategic Initiatives Committee and a strong advocate of the Idaho WWAMI program. Skip has held his private pilot’s license since 1974 and holds a jet SIC type rating.

Esther Oppenheimer is a licensed clinical professional counselor and Board Certified art therapist. She received her Master’s in Education with an emphasis in both community and school counseling from Albertson College in 1993. Esther also has Master’s Degrees in Art Education and Early Childhood Education from Boise State University. Esther is active in the art community as a studio artist and volunteers with the Boise Art Museum. She served as a commissioner and Chair of the Governor’s Commission on Volunteerism and Community Service, “Serve Idaho”. Esther has a passion for art and is a strong advocate for offering more art in schools, communities, and mental health organizations.

The Oppenheimers reside in Boise and have two sons, Joshua, a graduate of College of Idaho and an elementary school teacher in Boise, Idaho and Matthew, a graduate of Dartmouth College and Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration; CEO of Beamit, a mobile banking startup.
