Dr. Henri L. and Elnore N. Petit Endowed Scholarship in Medicine

The Dr. Henri L. and Elnore N. Petit Student Loan Fund, which was established in 1963, was created through an estate gift from Henri L. and Elnore N. Petit in support of loans for medical students. Dr. Petit was born in Pennsylvania in 1878 and practiced medicine in Centralia, Washington beginning in 1908. The Petits were active members of the community, and Dr. Petiti was a member of a number of professional associations, including the American Medical Association. The Dr. Henri L. and Elnore N. Petit Endowed Scholarship in Medicine will provide current and future medical students with much-needed scholarship support while also honoring the intent and genrosity of Dr. and Mrs. Petit’s gift.
