EST. 1973

No letter required

Dr. Lottsfeldt graduated from the UW School of Medicine in 1961, and, shortly before his death in 1965, he had been asked to return to UW as a faculty member and researcher in the field of cancer and leukemia. Dr. Lottsfeldt was a bright, young scientist whose life was cut short by an auto accident. He was survived by his wife, Joan Lottsfeldt. The Fredrik I. Lottsfeldt, M.D Endowed Scholarship in Medicine will provide current and future medical students with much-needed scholarship support while also honoring the intent and generosity of the gifts made in memory of Dr. Lottsfeldt.
