The Friends of the UW School of Medicine Spokane (formerly Friends of WWAMI Spokane) is a dedicated group committed to helping support medical education and medical students in Spokane and Eastern Washington. Established in 2011, members of the committee include alumni from the University of Washington and community volunteers. The Friends of the UW School of Medicine Spokane believe in the vision of the UW School of Medicine: to collaborate with the community in delivering all four years of medical education in Spokane. They lend their time, talent and financial support to make the vision of a vibrant four-year medical education program a reality.
