Joyce A. Behrens is an emeritus faculty member in the Department of Laboratory Medicine at the UW School of Medicine.  In 2008, Ms. Behrens made a testamentary gift that will create a scholarship to assist students who have completed their first year in the undergraduate Medical Technology Program in the Department of Laboratory Medicine, with a preference for students exhibiting an interest in the study of hematology.
