Melvin J. Marth Endowed Scholarship in Medicine

The Marth Student Loan Fund, which was established in 1984, was created through an estate gift from Melvin J. Marth in support of loans for medical students. Melvin John Marth was born in Centralia, Washington. His two sons and his daughter all attended the University of Washington, and Mr. Marth received care at the University Hospital. The Melvin J. Marth Endowed Scholarship in Medicine will provide current and future medical student with much-needed scholarship support while also honoring the intent and generosity of Mr. Marth’s gift.
